AMC NanoTech is a nanotechnology innovator. We are specialized in design and production of nanomaterials and nanomaterial systems for different applications. Our business also includes design and production in component and system level. Our primary interests are in energy storage, field emission (cold) cathode vacuum electronic devices (including x-ray tubes and TWTs), and static X-Ray scanners for different medical and security applications.
Our mission is to develop technologies and innovative products to improve public health, public safety, and environmental health.
Research History
Founder and CEO, Dr. Bo Gao, has over 20 years' experience in developing different nanomaterials and nanomaterial systems for a variety of applications, including energy storage, field emission (cold) cathodes, field emission displays, liquid crystal display back light units, cold cathode X-Ray tubes, and static X-Ray scanners, etc.
Dr. Gao is the first researcher to demonstrate high lithium storage capacity in CNTs, silicon nanowires, and germanium nanowires. He is also the world's leading expert on CNT cold cathode X-Ray technology. He has developed several processes for producing high current CNT cold cathodes. A few of them have become the industrial standard and are being used by the industrial leaders in this field for their production of CNT cold cathodes, and cold cathode based X-Ray tubes.
